"The worth within us all"
The "Worth Within Us All" centres on the theme of human dignity, highlighting the indispensable value of workers in labour-intensive yet often underappreciated roles. The series consists of four portraits: a construction worker overseeing a site, a farmer tending a field, a herdsman feeding a lamb, and a housewife engaged in household duties. Each painting draws attention to the unseen effort and responsibility carried by individuals whose work sustains daily life.
Accompanying the portraits, is a poem, that further emphasises the struggles and importance of these figures. Collectively, the works serve as a reminder that without the contribution of such workers, society would face significant disruption. The series is both a tribute and a call to recognise dignity in all forms of labour.
